We adopted a kitten from Blake from a feral mother cat that was rescued by Blake. They are wonderful, caring, and reasonably priced. We also took a beloved aging cat dying of kidney disease to Blake and they couldn't have been more compassionate in offering palliative care. Our kids love the open concept reception area where animals available for adoption are available for socialization and viewing.
Blake Vet is a lovely place. They are so helpful in emergencies - willing to talk by phone to solve urgent issues, willing to extend hours to help a hurt pet. They have helped me several times with injured pets.
We have never left our dogs at a kennel due to a bad experience a long time ago, so were were apprehensive when we had to use a kennel recently. Our dogs LOVED their time at Blake's! We've always gotten great vet care there. Highly recommend.
We pass by 4 different vets on our way to Blake's, and couldnt be happier to do so! Sadie gets excited as soon as we pull in! all staff are amazing and helpful. Love the kids area as well as the open areas for adoptable pets. Glad Sadie sees the best in Maine!!!
I had two little dogs and when I went to Germany I left them here. I was relieved to know there is a Veterinarian there for emergencies and I called all the time to check on the and the staff were friendly and helpful. The care was wonderful. If would take my dogs there for a couple weeks or a couple days. This is a wonderful place.
